Pacific Coast Highway reopens in Malibu
MALIBU, Calif. (FOX 11) - A stretch of Pacific Coast Highway was closed Monday in the Malibu area due to debris in the roadway, city officials said.
Both directions of the highway were closed around 10:20 a.m. between Broad Beach Road in Malibu and Las Posas Road in Ventura County.
PCH reopened in both directions around 3 p.m. Monday.
Motorists are advised to remain cautious when driving through the area and on canyon roads.
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the Woolsey and Hill Fire burn areas in effect until 12:15 p.m. Monday. Flash flooding, mudslides and debris flow are expected to follow.
The first in a series of storms arrived Thursday in Southern California, bringing thunderstorms and mountain snow.
