A lot of parents didn't want to send their kids back to school when in-person classes resumed earlier this year Covid fears were obviously a huge reason for that but other fears impacted their decision as well, especially African American families. The grassroots organization Speak UP did a survey that showed bullying and racism were other major reasons. We talked to one of the group's members about those findings.

Her brother Marcus and 'The Christina Grimmie Fundation' are holding a virtual concert in her honor June 8th.
