Where are the fires in California right now?
It’s been nearly two weeks since fires started burning in the Los Angeles area, and it could be a week or more before homeowners are allowed to check on their fire-damaged properties.
As of Sunday morning, thousands of people were still under evacuation orders, and many do not know what, if anything, is left of their houses, apartments and possessions.
Here’s where the fires stand as of Sunday, Jan. 19, including maps, containment and evacuation orders.
