Volkswagen recalls nearly 90,000 Audi vehicles

Volkswagen has issued a recall of nearly 90,000 2022-2024 Audi Q5 Quattro and Q5 Sportback Quattro vehicles.

Why you should care:

According to Consumer Affairs, the company said the cylinder head cover screws may have been improperly tightened.

Also, the screws can loosen, which allows oil to leak and increases the risk of a fire.

What you can do:

The company said drovers can return the vehicle to the dealer to get it inspected and replace the screws as necessary, free of charge.

Those affected by the recall can expect a letter in the next few months. They may also contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 15ZK.
