UPDATE: Burn Victim's GoFundMe Receives Nearly $200,000 After Video Goes Viral

When we looked at Hammy TV's social experiment that turned into a call to action last week, the GoFundMe page for burn victim Eric Angels had doubled its expected goal of $10,000.

Fast forward to now, and the GofFundMe page moderator has asked that, "any further donations you may want to make go to another deserving person or charity." Why would they ask people to stop donating? Because they have received $196,000 through the kindness of others. Nearly 8,400 people donated to help Eric, a true testament of the good that everyday people - and prominent YouTube personalities like Hammy TV - can accomplish when they work together.
