'The Purge'-like Christmas fighting festival in Peru

Peruvians duke it out in a Christmas tradition. The festival is aimed at settling old scores...and starting the New Year afresh.

Community members say the fights resolve conflicts and improve relationships.

The yearly brawls are set against a backdrop of music, drinking, and good cheer. All community members, including children, can take part. Referees are on hand to declare winners.

The issues fought over range from romance...to financial and legal disputes.
