Suspect in Newhall massage parlor robbery arrested

NEWHALL, Calif. (FOX 11) - Authorities arrested a 22-year-old Santa Clarita man accused of robbing a Newhall massage parlor after getting a message.

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Santa Clarita Valley Station said tips from the public led to the identification and arrest of Louie Gonzalez, 22. Gonzalez was taken into custody Thursday afternoon.

The robbery occurred at about 1:40 p.m. June 27 in the 24000 block of Railroad Avenue. Investigators say the suspect attempted to make a payment after getting a massage but then lifted his shirt revealing the butt of a handgun and robbed the business.
