2 arrested after pursuit crash in Upland

Two people were arrested following a pursuit crash in Upland over the weekend, according to police. 

The incident happened Saturday around 5:30 p.m.

According to authorities, officers responded to the Target in the Colonies on a report of a theft in progress. At the scene, officers located the suspect vehicle leaving the area and conducted a traffic stop near Campus Avenue Fire Station. 

Police said the vehicle pulled over and and a man got out of the passenger side. The car then sped off, police said. 

Officers chased the suspect down Campus Avenue, where the driver lost control of the vehicle, which hit a curb and rolled over on its side near Campus avenue and 8th Street. 

The driver, an unidentified woman, was extricated from the vehicle and taken into custody. She had a no bail-warrant out for her arrest among other charges, police said. 

The other suspect was also arrested on a no-bail warrant.  

The identities of both suspects were not released.
