Multi-vehicle crash shuts down several traffic lines of 60 freeway in East L.A.
EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - A vehicle crash involving a couple of motorcycles on the 60 freeway in East Los Angeles has blocked several traffic lanes on the eastbound and westbound sides Tuesday night.
The crash was reported just before 9 a.m. on the 60 freeway near the S. Atlantic Boulevard exit, initially as a motorcycle versus a white Toyota Sienna, but later expanded to three vehicles and two motorcycles, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information site.
The injuries are unknown at this time.
Drivers should expect heavy traffic backup. It's not known when the wreckage will be cleared and closed traffic lanes will reopen.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
