Missing autistic boy found safe

COSTA MESA, CA (FOX 11/CNS) - The search for a 12-year-old autistic boy in Costa Mesa ended successfully today when he was found safe, police said.

Diego Garcia was last seen about 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of Adams Avenue, the Costa Mesa Police Department reported when it made a public plea to assist in the search.

It was not immediately known where or how the boy was found.
