McDonald’s employees strike over sexual harassment allegations

Cooks and cashiers at a Los Angeles McDonald's store went on strike Tuesday afternoon over what they say is continued sexual harassment at McDonald's and retaliation for speaking out.

Video from SkyFOX showed dozens of workers holding signs outside the McDonald's in Monterey Park, located at 950 W Floral Drive.

The workers who went on strike represent three of the 50 McDonald's workers who in May filed complaints with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) detailing widespread sexual harassment at the company.

The strikers were demanding workers be the ones to drive the solution to McDonald's widespread harassment problem.

FOX 11 reached out to McDonald's for comment and is waiting to hear back.
