Man shot and killed inside car in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. - An investigation is underway after a man was found shot and killed inside a car in Long Beach late Sunday. 

It happened around 8:46 p.m. in the area near Anaheim Street and Roswell Avenue.

According to police, the man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died. His identity has not been released at this time. 

The motive remains unknown.
