Man killed in 605 Freeway crash involving semi-truck in Cerritos

LOS ANGELES (FOX 11) - A man was killed in a crash that involved two vehicles and a semi-truck on the Southbound lanes of the 605 Freeway near Alondra Avenue early Tuesday morning.

The crash happened around 3:00 a.m.causing lane closures before the peak of morning rush hour.

An official with California Highway Patrol confirmed the man killed was not wearing a seatbelt.

A second person was transported to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown.
