Man found on Metro Red Line tracks in Los Feliz
LOS FELIZ, Calif. (FOX 11) - A man who said he'd fallen on the Metro Red Line tracks in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles was taken to the hospital with medical treatment Saturday afternoon after being discovered by LAPD.
It's unclear if the man was ever struck by the train but the Los Angeles Fire Department said he was conscious and talking when firefighters arrived.
The man was discovered on the tracks just after 2 p.m. at the Red Line station at 5450 West Hollywood Boulevard. According to the L.A. Fire Department, the man claimed he had fallen from the platform.
Red Line service was affected during the rescue.
