LAX travel day complicated by police investigation of suspicious package
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - An unattended bag caused a brief scare at Los Angeles International Airport this afternoon on one of the busiest air travel days of the year.
The bag was found about 2:45 p.m. outside the Bradley Terminal, according to airport police Officer Rob Pedregon. A bomb-sniffing dog "alerted'' to the possible presence of explosive material, but additional investigation revealed the bag was not a threat and the all-clear was given by
3:10 p.m., Pedregon said.
Traffic was diverted at Terminal 3 while the bag was investigated, police said.
