LAPD pursuit of a stolen vehicle ends in crash; 3 suspects taken into custody

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Police Department was in pursuit of a stolen vehicle that started on the 118 Fwy in Granada Hills Wednesday evening.

The vehicle lost control around 10 p.m. and crashed into some brush off the 118 Fwy in the Porter Ranch area.

One person was taken to a hospital in unknown condition and the driver was taken into custody, the LAPD said. It was unclear if the person injured was a pedestrian or a person in the vehicle that was struck.

Details of when and where the pursuit began were not immediately available.
