Halloween 2019: The best SoCal events you don't want to miss

It's that spooky time of year again! Here are some of the best Halloween events in and around Los Angeles from haunted houses to scary theme parks and much more.

1) Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood 2019 at Universal Studios:
100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City

2) Reign of Terror Haunted House: Voted best haunted house in Southern California

Reign of Terror is an award-winning, walk-through authentic haunted house featuring more than 115 custom rooms packed with terrifying characters, a swarm of live monstrous characters and countless spectacular special effects. 3) Nights Of The Jack: A Halloween Jack O Lantern Experience

Nights Of The Jack is a family friendly, spectacular Halloween themed show situated on a 1/2 mile trail filled with thousands of hand- carved jack o’ lanterns. This year, in partnership with Nickelodeon, the event will feature a special “SpongeBob SquarePants” installation, which brings to life fan-favorite SpongeBob characters and iconic Bikini Bottom places through an illuminated pumpkin display. 4) Knott's Scary Farm: Where Nightmares Never End
8039 Beach Blvd., Buena Park
Running for over 40 years, Knott's Scary Farm Halloween Haunt features mazes, shows, Halloween-themed "scare zones" and over 1000 monsters roaming around. Numerous transformations turn the entire park into a huge Halloween party. This event is better suited for ages 13+, however, during Knott's daytime operating hours Camp Snoopy is transformed into Camp Spooky for the kids. Select nights Sept. 19 thru Nov. 2. 5) 20th Annual Dia De Los Muertos Festival at The Hollywood Forever Cemetery
6000 Santa Monica Blvd.Los Angeles, CA 90038
The celebration will take place on Saturday November 2nd, 2019. This year the theme is the Monarch Butterfly and its winter home the Mexican state of Michoacán. Michoacán. Dia de Los Muertos attire strongly encouraged – Come dressed in your finest Calaca apparel! For tickets click here.
