Fire breaks out at industrial building in Huntington Park
HUNTINGTON PARK, Calif. (FOX 11) - A fire broke out Wednesday at a commercial building in Huntington Park.
The second-alarm fire was first reported around 11 a.m. at a two-story industrial building, located in the 2000 block of Belgrave Avenue.
Part of the roof collapsed, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Firefighters were forced to tackle the fire in defensive mode due to heavy flames, protecting nearby structures.
No injuries were reported.
A large plume of smoke was visible from miles away, which burned through the roof of the building.
