Edison worker electrocuted in Paramount

PARAMOUNT (CNS) - A Southern California Edison worker was electrocuted tonight in Paramount.

The electrocution occurred at about 5:20 p.m. at 15515 California Ave., said Lt. Eric Lindblom of the sheriff's Lakewood Station.

Edison's Susan Cox confirmed an Edison employee had died. "We are aware of the incident," Cox said. "We don't know what happened."

Homicide detectives were investigating at the scene, Lindblom said.
