Deputy-involved shooting reported in East Los Angeles
EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - A deputy-involved shooting was reported Friday in East Los Angeles.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies were called on a report of a person shooting in the air near the intersection of Goodrich Boulevard and Union Pacific Avenue.
Responding deputies saw the suspect shooting a firearm, possibly a shotgun, which is when the deputy-involving shooting occurred, according to a watch commander at the East Los Angeles Station.
The suspect then went into a mobile home and did not come out for a few minutes, according to authorities. The suspect then surrendered.
