California Pizza Kitchen hosts fundraiser for fallen CHP officer’s family
A statewide fundraising effort will donate proceeds to the family of fallen CHP officer Andre Moye Jr. who was gunned down on the 215 Freeway August 12.
The chain restaurant, as well as the Police and Fire-The Fallen Heroes, are raising funds for Moye's family.
California Pizza Kitchen will donate 20 percent of every bill for Moye's family from locations across the state. The fundraising efforts apply to all dine-in, takeout, catering and delivery orders placed directly with the restaurant.

Officer Moye Jr., 33, was killed during a gun battle on the 215 freeway on Aug. 12 following a traffic stop.

Officer Moye, known by loved ones as "Junior," was described by his stepmother as a "kindhearted, great person.
