Burglars hit several pharmacies hours apart in Santa Clarita Valley

Police are investigating after a string of early morning pharmacy burglaries in the Santa Clarita Valley.

At least four pharmacies were burglarized between 12:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Thursday morning, though only three are believed to be connected.

Authorities are looking for four men who struck The Druggist in Valencia, Saugus Drugs in Santa Clarita and the Newhall Pharmacy. A Walgreens in Castaic was also burglarized but only cigarettes were stolen and it's not believed to be connected to the others.

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department says the suspects stole drugs and syringes from the other three pharmacies.

No arrests have been made and no one was harmed in the burglaries.
