Brazen burglars caught on video in Diamond Bar break-ins

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (FOX 11) - Police are looking for a group of brazen burglars caught on security video breaking into a home in the Diamond Bar area.

The Lam family in Diamond Bar thought they were doing the right things. They had an alarm system, they had exterior cameras, they bought the "Ring'' doorbell security system to protect themselves and their home and their belongings. They even have a dog.

Ultimately, none of it mattered. Their home was one of at least three in the area hit likely by the same crew of burglars since January 20th.

The burglars' images were recorded as they rang doorbells, and then entered empty homes where even more cameras picked them up, as well as their getaway car outside.

Detectives say they're working the cases, but so far none of the suspects have been identified despite the relatively clear security camera footage.

The neighbors are turning to social media and FOX 11 to help get the images and the word out.
