Actor Harrison Ford becomes real-life hero when he rescues woman from car crash

SANTA PAULA, CA (FOX 11) - Actor Harrison Ford channeling his action hero roles in a real-life rescue of a car crash victim.

Ford was driving east on state route 1-26 on Sunday morning in Santa Paula when the car in front of him veered off the road.

Ford immediately pulled over and rushed to the car along with several other bystanders.

They worked to pull a woman safely from the vehicle while waiting for paramedics to arrive.

The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
