A Chocolate Passover!

The first two nights of Passover this year are Friday, April 22nd and Saturday, April 23rd. The holiday ends on Saturday, April 30th. Passover commemorates the liberation of the Israelites from Egyptian slavery.

For the past five or six years, Valley Ruach - Young Jewish Professionals of LA have been hosting a Passover Sedar before the actual holiday that is truly sweet! It's a Chocolate Passover Sedar and the mood is light, fun and chocolaty. Everything in the dinner is made of chocolate!!! Hal Eisner went to the yummy holiday event. It was his second visit in as many years. Must be pretty delicious to keep Hal coming back for more!

At the head of the table you'll see pastry chef and chocolatier Jonathan Solomon (left) along with Herschel Brodie Aberson (right) leading the service. He is a Rabbinic Intern at Adat Ari El.
