Another night of strong damaging winds for SoCal
(FOX 11) - It will be a cold and windy night around Southern California this evening. High Wind Warnings for the mountains and high deserts with Wind Advisories elsewhere.
Expect wind gust to reach 50mph+ later this evening. As was the case last week, the strong winds have uprooted a number of trees from Compton to Bel Air earlier this afternoon.
Southwest Winds will change to stronger Northwest winds over night with the strongest gust later this evening into early Tuesday morning. On top of that a storm from the north could produce a little light rain and even snow down to about 3500 ft over the Grapevine early Tuesday morning.
Little or no accumulations are expected. Expected Freezing temperatures in the Antelope Valley by morning. Elsewhere the gusty winds and cool temperatures will make for a cold night elsewhere.
