NASCAR and FOX honor LA's Dr. Mark Morocco as Grand Marshal
LOS ANGELES - On Sunday, May 17th, NASCAR returns to the track, and together, we are showing our collective appreciation to the many heroes who are on the frontlines on our behalf every day.
FOX 11 selected Dr. Mark Morocco to serve as LA's representative Grand Marshal for the race. As honorary Grand Marshal, he will join 35 other local healthcare workers from cities all across the country to deliver the iconic line that begins every NASCAR race: "Drivers, Start Your Engines!"
Each of the 36 NASCAR drivers sent a video thanking and introducing them as an honorary Grand Marshal.
NASCAR is back!
