Local company Trinity Bats: supplying the MLB pros

FULLERTON, Calif. (FOX 11) - From the Dodgers, to the Indians to the Cubs...players want their bats to be the best! Many of those pros are turning to a local mom-and-pop shop in Fullerton.

Steve McKee, the owner of Trinity Bats says they customize baseball bats for all players -- from the amateurs to the pros. When the company started in 2005, McKee was hoping for at least one pro baseball player.

The company has come a long way since then, with hundreds of players purchasing their bats.

The bats are made of pro-graded maple, birch or ash. They go through a bone-rubbing process, resulting in the hardest, toughest and most durable bats in the game.

Trinity Bats is a relatively small company competing with giants in the business. How does it survive and thrive? McKee says, "We're not into this for one time sale. We want to be a part of our customers game, so we go the extra mile."
