Two injured during shooting in Compton

COMPTON, Calif. (FOX 11) - Two people were injured Wednesday night in a shooting near a park in Compton.

The shooting was reported about 7:50 p.m. in the 200 block of Rose Ave., which is adjacent to Wilson Park.

Two male victims were wounded. Both were taken to a hospital and were reported to be in stable condition, a deputy said.

It was unclear if the shooting was gang-related and no suspect information was immediately available.
