Man, woman die in Santa Clarita house fire
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - Two people are dead after a fire broke out at a home in Santa Clarita.
According to Los Angeles County Fire Department a fire in the bedroom spread into the attic of the single-story home.
Firefighters were dispatched to 28968 Flowerpark Drive around 11:41 a.m and had the fire out within minutes.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead, coroner's Investigator Kristy McCracken said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
