Grammys 2025: How to watch, what to know

The Grammys will take a very different tone this year as the Los Angeles community continues to recover from widespread wildfire devastation. 

The Recording Academy has reformatted its award show as a vehicle to help wildfire victims

Viewers and attendees will still witness trophies handed out and a bespoke concert experience, but they will also see the show raise awareness and drive donations. 

Here’s what to know:

What time are the Grammys 2025?

The Grammys will air in two parts on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025. 

The premiere ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. PT at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will pack dozens of awards and performances into a livestreamed show.

The Grammys telecast, which typically features less than 10 awards but loads of performances, begins at 8 p.m. ET. It’s taking place from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. 

Where to watch the Grammys?

The Grammys can be streamed live on Paramount+ if the account also subscribes to Showtime.

The show also will be available through live TV streaming services with CBS in their lineup, including Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV and FuboTV.

Paramount+ subscribers will be able to stream the awards show the day after the ceremony.

The premiere ceremony, hosted by songwriter Justin Tranter, can be streamed at the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel and on live.GRAMMY.com.

Grammys fundraiser for LA wildfires

The 2025 GRAMMYs telecast will be reimagined to raise funds to support wildfire relief efforts and aid music professionals impacted by the wildfires in Los Angeles. 

The backstory:

Los Angeles continues to recover from fires that destroyed more than 14,000 structures and displaced tens of thousands.

Since the fires began, the Grammys and its affiliated MusiCares charity have distributed $2 million in emergency aid and pledged more than $4 million to help those in the music industry impacted by the wildfires.

Grammy 2025 nominations

Big picture view:

Beyoncé leads the Grammy nods with 11 thanks to her acclaimed "Cowboy Carter" album, bringing her career total to 99 nominations. That makes her the most nominated artist in Grammy history.

Just last night, she announced she was going on tour again for the album.

If she wins the album of the year, she’ll become the first Black woman to do so in the 21st century.

Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Charli xcx follow with seven nominations.

Taylor Swift and first-time nominees Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan boast six nominations each.
