FBI investigates deaths, disappearances of US scientists

Various federal investigations were continuing Wednesday into a series of recent disappearances or deaths of U.S. scientists across the country, including at least four tied to the Los Angeles area, to determine if there is any connection among the cases or possible national security threats.
