Norte Fire: Some evacuations lifted as crews work to increase containment
Emergency officials have authorized partial repopulation following the 570-acre Norte Fire, allowing San Clemente Zone 13 residents to fully return home alongside limited access for San Juan Capistrano Zone 10, specifically within the Stallion Ridge community, San Juan Hills High School, and the local landfill. All other evacuation orders remain strictly in effect due to an active fire line, gusty winds, and an ongoing heat advisory across Southern California.
