Woman found shot to death in Anaheim alley

ANAHEIM, Calif. (FOX 11) - Police are investigating the shooting death of a young woman that occurred in the early morning hours Saturday.

Officers responded to the 900 block of E. Broadway Avenue in Anaheim at about 1:25 a.m. March 2, after receiving a report of gunshots heard in the area.

Police quickly found a victim near an alley suffering from at least one gunshot wound and officers began performing CPR on the victim until paramedics got to the scene, according to the Anaheim Police Department.

The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Ayleen Morales, of Anaheim. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
