Suspicious package at McDonald's restaurant in Mission Viejo prompts investigation
MISSION VIEJO, Calif. - Authorities investigated a suspicious package incident at a McDonald's restaurant in Mission Viejo Wednesday evening.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department says the restaurant, located in the 27700 block of Santa Margarita Parkway, called authorities just before 6 p.m. to report a package that had been left under a table.
Authorities eventually determined the suspicious package was someone's personal property and gave the all-clear.
No injuries were reported. It was not immediately known if McDonald's was evacuated.
