Public's help sought to locate missing Westmont man with dementia
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department issued another request Friday for the public's help to find a 78-year-old man with dementia who went missing in the unincorporated Westmont area of Los Angeles County.
James Thomas Wilson was last seen about 11 a.m. Sept. 24. He lives in the 10000 block of South Vermont Avenue, near Century Boulevard, according Deputy Edmo Luna of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
Wilson is black, 6-feet tall, weighs 220 pounds and has short black hair, gray facial hair and brown eyes. He uses glasses and was wearing a dark shirt and dark pants when last seen.
Anyone with information that could reunite Wilson with his family was asked to call the sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
