Preliminary 4.7-magnitude earthquake reported in San Luis Obispo County

A preliminary 4.7-magnitude earthquake was reported in San Luis Obispo County.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake happened at 4:42 p.m. Monday at about 11.2 miles northwest of San Simeon. Its depth was reported at about 3.17 miles, according to the USGS.
