Jac Ross discusses viral hit, new social justice anthem 'It's OK To Be Black'

A song released back in January has emerged as a viral hit that has garnered more than 2 million views on YouTube.

“It’s OK to Be Black” by Jac Ross has recently gained popularity in wake of the social justice movement. 

The singer opened up and shared how he aims to share a message of change and hope through his music.  

He revealed on Good Day LA that he started singing when he was 5-years-old and is the son of a preacher. 

Jac approaches his music with a strong determination – to bring awareness to and advocate for cultural, social, and political issues, while he draws from the struggle of his own life experiences.
