Long Beach unearths time capsule 50 years later
A 1976 time capsule packed with more than 84 historical mementos has been unsealed after 50 years. The collection offers a snapshot of the era, featuring Bicentennial flags, contemporary newspapers, high school yearbooks from Lakewood, Millikan, Poly, and Wilson, and handwritten letters from local elementary students sharing their hopes for the future.
