The parents of 8-year-old Lamar McGlothurn will receive a settlement of over $14 million from the agency responsible for King Gillette Ranch Park in Calabasas. The settlement follows a tragic incident during a summer camp where Lamar was struck and killed by a 100-pound, 25- to 30-foot tree branch that snapped and fell.
