Maggie Hathaway Golf Course reopens in South LA
In 2024, the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, The Maggie Junior Golf and Community Foundation and American Golf partnered to renovate Maggie Hathaway Golf Course. The project has received $7.8 million of funding from the County of Los Angeles and $12 million in private donations through The Maggie Junior Golf and Community Foundation to improve the facility, expand programming for underserved youth and make golf more accessible in South Los Angeles.
