February 3rd is National Girls and Women in Sports Day. The day is dedicated to celebrating and inspiring girls and women to play and be active, to realize their full power. We talked to 2020 recipient Mariana Akins about her experience overcoming adversity, her experience as a college female athlete during a pandemic and her advice to other young female athletes.?
