California Legislature Considers Proposal to Create Its Own $600 COVID Unemployment Benefit
Assemblymember Miguel Santiago joined Good Day LA to discuss the need to support Californians during massive unemployment due to the Coronavirus. As of Friday, unemployed Californians will not receive federal CARES Act $600 payment in their unemployment checks.
