Residents on edge as forecast calls for dangerous high winds
Here's what we know right now. The Getty Fire has burned 656 acres, with only 15 percent containment. Mandatory evacuations are still in place but some orders have been lifted. 12 homes have been destroyed. Five others, damaged. The 405 Freeway is open but some on and off ramps may be closed intermittently, from the 101 to Sunset Boulevard. The bigger news is still the even stronger winds expected to move in Tuesday night.
