Jackie Nguyen talks special connection to Miss Saigon

Miss Saigon is the powerful story of a young American G.I. who falls in love with a Vietnamese bar girl, but becomes separated by war. The story has touched audiences for almost thirty years, but the Orange County production is extra special for a member of the ensemble Jackie Nguyen. Her mother went through a very similar experience during the Vietnam ar. The hit Broadway show is now at the Segerstrorm Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa through the weekend.
