Hollywood?s favorite photographer, Douglas Kirkland details his latest gallery showing

There are tens of thousands, If not hundreds of thousands of photographs of Marilyn Monroe, Farah Fawcett and Jack Nicholson. So how does a photographer manage to capture that one image that becomes iconic? Douglas Kirkland has been shooting those incredible images for more than 50 years. He has been called Hollywood?s favorite photographer, shooting for Look magazine, LIFE and Vanity Fair. He was the special on-set photographer on more than a hundred fifty movies films and has an unmatched collection of celebrity portraits - many of which are on display starting this week at the Mouche Gallery in Beverly Hills. Douglas will also be making appearances at the Mouche Gallery on Friday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and from 1:00pm to 4:00pm this Saturday and Sunday.
