Mayor Karen Bass signed an executive order in response to immigration raids, launching a privately funded cash aid program to help vulnerable residents?regardless of immigration status?avoid homelessness. Mayor?s Fund CEO Conway Collis says the initiative doesn't just help those receiving the funds, but helps benefit all residents.
