Karen Bass: Children forced inside as ICE units march through LA park

Mayor Karen Bass says what she witnessed at MacArthur Park looked like a city under armed occupation ? complete with mounted units, armored vehicles, and troops walking in formation past children at summer camp. She says the show of force was part of a broader ?military assault? on Los Angeles, rooted in fear, chaos, and politics. One eight-year-old boy, without being told what was happening, said he was afraid ICE would take his parents.
