Officials discuss cell phone bans, student wellness
Top California education officials gathered Friday to discuss cell phone bans in schools and student mental health at the 8th Annual "Wellness Together Conference" at the Anaheim Convention Center. The California legislature recently passed the Phone-Free School Act which will require schools to restrict the use of smartphones by July 1, 2026. Marla Tellez moderated the panel.
