California officials look to restrict access to B-12 formulation
The California Board of Pharmacy is looking to restrict access to Category 1 sterile compounds like B-12 shots and glutathione. They're elements that many people with health issues - including Lyme disease, diabetes, and chronic fatigue syndrome - depend on. Many firefighters say these glutathione treatments help them recover after battling wildfires. After significant public backlash, the board is looking to restrict access and require authorization patient by patient. FOX 11's Marla Tellez has the full report.
